Wedding Planning & Celebrant

Find out more

Hiring a wedding planner is no longer a luxury for the elite few.

The first wedding I ever planned was the (not so) hallowed union between my My Little Pony and Care Bear in the early 80’s. With my Cabbage Patch Doll presiding, Snoopy and Rupert Bear making beautiful bridesmaids and an eclectic congregation comprising of Weebles, Optimus Prime, He-Man, Sindy and half the cast of Star Wars, it truly was a magical day. Having somewhat refined my wedding planning skills since then, my sense of magic – and the eclectic – still holds true today.

About me

My background

Hi, I’m Eva, I grew up in Cornwall but have been a proud Londoner since 2012. Having trained and worked professionally as an actress, my natural empathy, creativity and genuine love of people and telling their stories has led me from my career on stage and screen to today as a wedding planner and celebrant. For me, it’s all about the joy. When I first moved to London, I was working as an events manager for bingo halls in Shoreditch and Camden. It was the most fun I have ever had – a memorable highlight was the time that I wrestled four octogenarians off a naked man during a male stripper’s night I hosted there but I digress! The buzz I got from seeing how happy a well-planned event can make people was the closest I had ever come to the buzz of being on stage. One of my best friends then asked me to plan her wedding and I realised I had found my niche. I just love seeing people happy and to this day, I still always cry at the first dance.

Making it personal

holding hands

A good wedding planner should always be able to make you savings – both in respect to time and money. The number one thing that I strive for is to make your day a reflection of who you are as a couple. I loathe how couples sacrifice their personalities and aesthetic sensibilities at the altar of people pleasing and being “weddingy”!

wedding cake

It’s a day to celebrate the two of you so forget the seat covers and chair bows and spend that money on some fancy Champagne for the top table (don’t feel bad – lots of people do this!), that pair of shoes that you couldn’t quite justify otherwise or some live music because honestly, nothing else elevates a party in quite the same way.

I want your wedding to be authentic and I want your journey there to be one of joy. I hear so many horror stories of how stressful the run up to your big day can be and that shouldn’t be the case. If you don’t enjoy every meeting with me then frankly, I’m doing something wrong because the whole process should be fun. One of the most common remarks I hear from couples is that they feel more excited about their wedding every time we speak which is precisely how it should be.

Getting to know you

Having worked in London as a wedding planner for a number of years now I have had the good fortune to weave my magic in some incredible venues. From the grand and historic such as Syon Park, Two Temple Place and Queens House to an East End Pub, my weddings have been as diverse as my clients.

My favourite part is getting to know you both and helping you put together ideas based on who you are and discovering want you truly want from your day – not what you think you should. The one constant is that I seem to attract clients who are more interested in a marriage than a wedding. So, if you want someone who is going to be completely invested in you and your big day – with a side helping of fun, authenticity and above all will really listen to you and create something that is uniquely yours no matter how big, small, quiet or loud – give me a call. Your wedding day is just one chapter in the book of your lives but we’ll work together to make it everything you dreamed of.

I am looking forward to hearing your story.
